About
I have a soft spot for big ideas.
I took my first step into the world of entrepreneurship was while I was in college. I started a small coupon business, which would became one of the best experiences of my life. I learned an unbelievable amount about sales and marketing (not what they teach in school).
After college I had the opportunity to work for a few great startups. CrowdFunder.com, which led the charge to change the way startups are financed. I spearheaded the digital marketing effort that led to more than $14 million in pledged investments, and attracted more than 1,000 companies to the platform. I also worked with drchrono, Y Combinator healthcare startup aiming to make the iPad the main piece of hardware in every doctors office.
Last September I left for Chicago to join The Starter League, a web development school taught at 37signals. During my time there I designed Mountain Metrics an analytics platform for Tumblr.
I am currently doing freelance web design and working on a startup blog, Signal Tower. In my free time I read, watch football, and take pictures. Don’t worry – I don’t use Instagram.
If it sounds like I might be someone worth working with, please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you!
